Feb 23, 2002. House is finally going up. "Holes" under right side will be covered in brick. Foundation is block pedestals.
March 9: House is almost framed. We will live in the left side of the duplex. Front door is in center, garage to the left with guest bedroom & bath above, study/bedroom on the right front.
Rear view. Master bedroom is to left, screened porch in middle, breakfast area to right. Plywood boards temporarily cover the exterior windows.
March 29: Rear with windows beginning to be cut out.
April 4: Front with casement windows installed.

We took possession on July 26,2002, and moved in on July 28. Lots of decorating details remain -- hanging pictures, etc. But we love the open, light arrangment and wonderful view. Only window treatments at this point are Duette shades.
On August 5 we hit the road again in our motor home for a 2-month trip to the southwest, so the rest of settling in will have to wait until the end of September.
