Visiting Friends & Family
In November 2000 on our way to Winter Park, CO, we stopped to see George Anna and Bill McKenzie in their beautiful Victorian home in Bowling Green, KY. We toured the Corvette plant with them.
Next we visited with Dot and Grady Williams in Nashville, TN. When driving to CO, we stopped in Kansas and had dinner with Tom's Aunt LeOra Schaaf in Herrington, KS.

April 26-29, 2001: Atlanta for Agnes Scott College class reunion

June 1 & 2: Visited Dee's cousins Mary and Tom Strode and Jane and Tucker Battle in Richmond and Washington, respectively.
June 3-5: Gettysburg, PA. Toured the battlefield, town and Eisenhower farm.
June 6-7: Cooperstown, NY. Toured the Baseball Hall of Fame and Fennimore Art Museum.
June 9-12: Boston, MA. Walked the Freedom Trail, saw Harvard, John F. Kennedy Museum and heard the marvelous Boston Pops in concert.
June 13 - 14: East Eddington, ME, to visit friends Ruth and Hew Crawford.
June 15 - 16: Visited Eric's parents Linda and Carl Smith in Corinna, ME, and drove to Bar Harbor to meet Laura and Eric.
September 2001: On our return trip from Alaska and Canada we stopped in Bozeman, Montana, for the wedding of Jane and Tucker Battle's son Philip. After a lovely wedding and all the festivities to honor the happy couple, we headed east to Wisconsin to visit Tom's cousin Gail and Kim Petersen and Gail's parents Betty and Jess Irwin. We visited the Frank Lloyd Wright Center and Architecture School and the famous "House on the Rock" and its collections of doll houses, model ships, calliopes, to mention a few.

In March 2002, after attending the Monaco and Family Motor Coach rallies in Georgia, we went to Naples, FL, to visit my college roommate and her husband, Betty Sue and Dick Wharton, in their beautiful new home there.

Oregon we visited cousin

On our return in May, we attended a family reunion in Asheville, NC, with the Irwin brothers and families. Over Labor Day weekend, we attended the annual Strode Cousins Weekend in VA.
In
June 2, 2004, we visited my brother John Conwell and his sons Joey and Chris
in Maryland on the occasion of Joey's high school graduation.
